Kristin Fisher has joined CNN on 20 July 2021. She is CNN's Space and Defense Correspondent. She covers everything, starting with NASA and Space Force, Space Force and commercial space businesses to the rise of space tourism. Kristin is the daughter two NASA astronauts. Kristin has grown up in the world of space as well as covered Trump and Biden Administration space policies for FOX News as White House Correspondent. While there she also reported on two impeachment trials for the president and the presdiential 2020 campaign, as well as two administration's attempts to control the coronavirus pandemic. The extensive trips she took with the president and vice-president also included a trip exclusive to Afghanistan and Afghanistan, which she travelled on together with Donald Trump. Prior to becoming a part of the company in 2015, Kristin spent nearly a decade working her way up through the local news channels which included Grand Junction, Colorado; Little Rock, Arkansas; and Washington, D.C. where she won the Emmy Award as a one-man-band reporter for the Washington, D.C.'s CBS affiliate. Using her skills behind the camera, Kristin established Field Mouse Films in 2014. The company specialized in making documentary-style films for corporate clients, such as Uber and Starwood Hotels & Resorts. Kristin earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Journalism from Boston University. She is currently living in Washington, D.C., with her entire family, which includes their daughter, who is three years old.
